A new era has officially begun for an Overland Park comedy club.
It’s been roughly five years since the stage darkened at Clint’s Comedy Club (formerly Clint’s Comedy Stop) during the COVID-19 pandemic. The space sat vacant for a while, save for a few events from neighboring businesses.
But now, the stage lights are on again. Clint’s Comedy Club recently reopened for its first few shows back — with a slight name change, but owner Clint Warren hopes, the same laughs.
Clint’s Comedy Club reopened at 7332 W. 119th St.
- The club operates inside a space on the east side of the Rosana Square shopping center, just off 119th Street and Blue Valley Parkway.
- The space is near live music venue Guitars and Cadillacs and Indian restaurant Aahaa Modern Indian Cuisine.
- Clint’s Comedy Club generally offers live comedy from 7 to 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday nights.
Clint’s Comedy Club offers weekend comedy in various forms

The lineup at Clint’s Comedy Club features both rising and seasoned comedians, depending on the night.
Friday nights at the club are for improv shows and open mic nights, while Saturday nights are for professional comics.
In the next few weekends, Saturday headliners will include comedians like Jamie Campbell, comedy duo Phil Morris and Jennifer Gable, and Elliott Threatt.
The club also offers a selection of beers, wines, mixed drinks and snacks for the audience to enjoy during shows.
As a smaller venue with the capacity for roughly 75 guests, Warren said, it’s easier for guests to feel closer to the comedians onstage — and to one another.
In that sense, he said, the entertainment of being at the club goes beyond watching whoever is onstage.
“The show starts when people come through the door,” he said. “It’s not like you’re sitting around waiting for the famous guy to come up. We’re having fun right at the beginning.”
This marks Clint’s Comedy Club’s return to JoCo
Warren, a longtime standup comedian himself, said he hadn’t necessarily expected to get his club back after the pandemic initially forced it closed.
Warren originally opened the comedy club, then called Clint’s Comedy Stop, about seven years ago at Overland Park’s Rosana Square shopping center near 119th Street and Blue Valley Parkway.
So far, Warren said, it’s been exciting to watch the comedy club gradually come back to life, bringing in faces both new and familiar.
“There are new people, definitely, but there are a significant amount of people who came before, who came in and said, ‘Hey, I’m glad you’re back,’” he said. “It’s been very encouraging.”
