Matney Floral, a mainstay at the Fairway Shops for nearly a quarter century, will close its doors for good in the coming weeks.
Bookkeeper Cindy Dalton told the Prairie Village Post that the store has stopped taking new flower orders. The store will be selling its current inventory, and close once it is gone.
Dalton said owner Chuck Matney had opened the store 25 years ago, and moved it to its current location next to Rainy Day Books 22 years ago.
