A New York-based clothing retailer has officially returned to Leawood, three years after leaving the city.
J. Crew recently unveiled its new store at the Town Center Crossing shopping center.
J. Crew opened at 4537 W. 119th St.
- The store occupies a space at the Town Center Crossing shopping center in Leawood, just off 119th Street and Roe Avenue.
- Orvis, a retailer selling fishing gear and outdoor apparel, previously occupied that space.
- J. Crew’s new Leawood store is open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.
J. Crew sells clothing for women, men and children
- Customers browsing at J. Crew can find items like sweaters, skirts, suits and jackets.
- J. Crew also offers a wide variety of shoes in brands like New Balance, Reebok and Birkenstock.
- The store also sells accessories like jewelry, hats, bags and belts.
J. Crew left Leawood three years ago
- The New York-based retailer closed its store nearby at the Town Center Plaza shopping center in 2022.
- At the time, J. Crew had operated there for more than a decade.
- J. Crew Factory, the retailer’s discounted counterpart, also has stores at the Hawthorne Plaza shopping center nearby as well as the Bluhawk development in southern Overland Park.
