Roughly a year and a half after making a return to Johnson County, a Kansas City, Missouri-based med spa will soon expand its footprint on the Kansas side.
AesthetiCare Medspa has a new location in the works in southern Overland Park, which aims to open next year.
AesthetiCare is coming to 7500 W. 160th St.
- The spa is coming to a 4,700-square-foot space at the southeast corner of 159th Street and U.S. Highway 69.
- There, it will operate near QuikTrip and Blue Valley Dermatology, as well as the Bluhawk development west of 159th Street.
- According to a release, the spa is planning a spring 2026 opening.
AesthetiCare offers “cutting-edge” treatments and services
- AesthetiCare centers offer a variety of wellness and aesthetic treatments, such as laser hair removal, sun damage correction, skin tightening and hormone balancing, according to the company.
- In addition to the customer-facing side, AesthetiCare’s training center, MINT Aesthetics, also trains clinicians (both in person and online) for treatments like Botox, dermal fillers and laser treatments.
- “We’re thrilled to bring our top-tier skin and body rejuvenation services to Stilwell,” said Matt Taranto, founder of AesthetiCare, via a release. “Our passion is helping people look and feel their absolute best, and we’re excited to share that mission with even more members of our community.”
AesthetiCare got its start in Johnson County
- AesthetiCare debuted in a space off Shawnee Mission Parkway and Quivira Road in 2001 before moving to AdventHealth Shawnee Mission.
- The spa then went to two different Leawood spaces before it moved to Kansas City, Missouri, in the spring of 2023.
- In April 2024, AesthetiCare made a return to Johnson County with a new Lenexa space.
