Pilates studio chain from Florida is coming to Overland Park — its first location in KC

The new studio, opening at Bluhawk this fall, will offer 50-minute reformer workouts for all fitness levels.

A new fitness studio offering “modern” Pilates workouts is on its way to a growing Overland Park development.

Florida-based JETSET Pilates will soon debut a new studio at the Bluhawk development in Overland Park — its first studio in Johnson County.

JETSET Pilates is coming to 7840 W. 161st St.

  • The fitness studio is coming to a space in the center of the Bluhawk development, just off 159th Street and U.S. Highway 69.
  • There, it will operate near Bath & Body Works and J. Crew Factory at the shopping center.
  • The new studio is targeting a fall opening at Bluhawk.

This marks the first JETSET studio in Johnson County

  • The new Overland Park studio will also serve as the first in the wider Kansas City metro area for the Florida-based brand.
  • JETSET Pilates is known for its “signature” 50-minute reformer workouts, which cater to a wide variety of fitness levels.
  • Outside of Kansas, the company has studios in several other states, including California, Texas and North Carolina.

Bluhawk is experiencing lots of change

  • The addition of JETSET Pilates comes as one of several new additions to the growing mixed-use development in southern Overland Park.
  • The development’s first hotel opened recently, aiming to accommodate traveling athletes and families at the AdventHealth Sports Park.
  • “Dirty soda” shop Swig also recently opened a new store on the east side of the shopping center, marking the Utah-based chain’s fourth Johnson County location.
