A local grocery chain will soon trade one Shawnee space for another.
Mexican grocery chain Mi Pueblito Meat Market will soon leave its space at the redeveloping Westbrooke Green shopping center — heading instead to a new Shawnee home, in the space formerly occupied by Pathlight Brewing.
The market is coming to 11200 W. 75th St.
- The grocery store is moving to a space just off 75th Street and Nieman Road, at the Trailridge shopping center in Shawnee.
- Mi Pueblito Meat Market will close in its old space at the end of the month.
- It has occupied that former space at Westbrooke Village (the shopping center was renamed Westbrooke Green as redevelopment efforts picked up) for roughly a decade.
Pathlight Brewing closed in the space last summer
- The locally owned microbrewery and taproom announced its closure in June 2025.
- At the time, Pathlight Brewing had been open for roughly five years.
- Local home brewers David Harris and Tanner Vaughn launched Pathlight Brewing in the spring of 2020.
The market’s old home is going through a revamp

- After the Westbrooke Village shopping center sat vacant and derelict for years, efforts to redevelop it began to pick up steam in 2024.
- Another Hispanic grocery store, El Mercado Fresco, will open at the shopping center later this year.
- The space that El Mercado Fresco is moving into was once occupied by a Dillon’s grocery store.
