A 62-year-old Shawnee man died at the Lake of the Ozarks on Saturday afternoon.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the man was swimming off a dock at 32659 Crescent Drive in Morgan County on Saturday around 4:40 p.m.
Troopers say the man “entered the water from a dock, surfaced, then submerged and never resurfaced.”
Divers from Mid-County Dive Team and Recovery recovered the man’s body just after 8 p.m.
Troopers have not released the man’s name, but the report says next of kin notifications have been made.
