The Kansas Highway Patrol is looking for witnesses to Wednesday evening’s deadly crash on U.S. Highway 69 near 159th Street in Overland Park.
The crash killed Faith Monae Locket, 24, of Raytown, Missouri, and injured two children, one of them seriously.
In their online crash log, troopers have corrected the vehicle information for the crash. The log now states that the crash involved a gold 2007 Kia Optima and a silver 2021 Honda Accord.
“The Kia collided with the Honda before overturning into the median,” the log reads.
Anyone who may have witnessed the crash or has knowledge of it is asked to contact Trooper Ryan Schultz at 913-782-8100.
“Any information, no matter how minor, may be valuable to the investigation,” a highway patrol release says. “The Kansas Highway Patrol is grateful for the support of the public and appreciate any help that may be provided.”
