Celebrate Prairie Village’s 75th birthday during a community party at Meadowbrook Park October 10.
Festivities on the lawn begin at 4:30 p.m. and include music, food trucks, bubbles, photo opportunities and yard games. Live music, featuring Superstar Mafia, will begin at 5:30 p.m. A drone show will begin at dusk, approximately 7:30 p.m.
Parking for the event will be available at Christ Church Anglican, 5500 W. 91st Street; Hillcrest Covenant Church, 8801 Nall Ave.; Rolling Hills Presbyterian, 9300 Nall Ave., Overland Park Church of the Nazarene, 9030 Lamar Ave., and on streets throughout the neighborhood. Walking is encouraged.
Don’t forget to bring a blanket or lawn chair, and your refillable water bottle.
The event is free for all attendees. A variety of dinner and dessert options will be available for purchase from the food trucks.
