Tune in live to watch the Johnson County Post’s forums for candidates running for the Board of County Commissioners.
The Post is hosting two one-hour forums, back-to-back, on Tuesday night at Central Resource Library in Overland Park.
Starting at 6 p.m.: Districts 1 and 5
The first hour starts at 6 p.m. and will feature candidates running for two contested seats in Districts 1 and 5 on the commission.
That includes incumbent District 1 Commissioner Beck Fast, being challenged by Ben Hobert, and incumbent District 5 Commissioner Michael Ashcraft, opposed by Greg Mitchell.

Starting at 7 p.m.: County Chair
The second hour starts roughly at 7 p.m. and will feature the two candidates running for county chair, incumbent Chair Mike Kelly and challenger Karen Crnkovich.
