LEGO opens new store at Leawood’s Town Center Crossing

The new store opened at the end of July, after relocating from the Oak Park Mall in Overland Park.

A new LEGO store has officially arrived in Leawood, after leaving its longtime spot at the Oak Park Mall.

At the end of July, the Danish construction toy brand unveiled its new store at the Town Center Crossing shopping center in Leawood, after relocating from the mall in Overland Park.

LEGO opened at 4411 W. 119th St.

  • The store took over a space at the Town Center Crossing shopping center, which is just off 119th Street and Roe Avenue in Leawood.
  • Previously, mattress store Tuft & Needle occupied that space.
  • The LEGO store is open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and noon to 6 p.m. Sunday.

  • Before leaving the mall, LEGO occupied its mall space for nearly 15 years.
  • Besides the Leawood store, customers can also find LEGOs inside Utah-based toy company Bricks & Minifigs, which has a store in downtown Mission.
  • The store offers a variety of LEGO building sets with themes from franchises like Disney, Harry Potter and Pokemon — as well as individual LEGO blocks.

Something else is coming soon to Town Center Crossing

  • Just a few doors down from the new LEGO store, high-end handbag and accessory brand Coach has a new store in the works at the Leawood shopping center.
  • Coach will take over the space formerly occupied by Rockhill Grille, which closed in late 2024.
  • In addition to handbags and other accessories, the space will also feature a Coach Coffee Shop — the brand’s first in Kansas.
