Highlands community celebrates end of school year with ‘lipdub’ of its own

The number of "No School" days on local elementary signs has caused stress for some parents.

As 2015-16 comes to an end, the school’s sixth-grade classes wanted to find a way to commemorate a school year of new memories and learning. So Highlands’ sixth grade teachers, Marie Hooker and Mike Torkelson, looked to the “lipdub” video that SM East students put together in 2013 and put together a video of their own.
