Save for big breaking news, we will be back with fresh headlines about your community in Johnson County on Tuesday.

In case you missed it, Prairie Village hosted its fifth annual “I Have A Dream” celebration, honoring the life and legacy of the civil rights icon on Saturday.

This year’s event carried the theme “Loving Democracy” and was highlighted by a keynote address from Christal Watson, the newly elected mayor and CEO of the Unified Government of Kansas City, Kansas, and Wyandotte County.
