Just months after making its Prairie Village debut, a healthy eatery has already set its sights on another Johnson County city.
Arizona-based Flower Child has filed plans to open a new location as part of a redeveloping part of the Town Center Plaza shopping center in Leawood.
Flower Child is coming to 119th Street and Roe Avenue
- The restaurant aims to take over a space on the south side of the Town Center Plaza shopping center in Leawood.
- The site was previously occupied by Houlihan’s, which closed earlier this year.
- Eventually, if plans are approved, Flower Child will be one of multiple new restaurants at the redeveloping site (newly dubbed French Corner).
Flower Child offers “fresh, healthy” eats
- The restaurant serves dishes like avocado caesar salads, chicken enchiladas and black bean falafel wraps.
- Flower Child also serves sides like sweet potato fries, roasted brussels sprouts and gluten-free mac and cheese.
- The restaurant also offers sweet treats like chocolate chip cookies and lemon olive oil cake.
Another Flower Child recently opened in Johnson County
- The company made its Kansas City area debut earlier this year, at the Corinth Quarter shopping center in Prairie Village.
- The new Leawood location would be the Arizona-based brand’s second location in Johnson County.
- Flower Child is owned by Arizona-based Fox Restaurant Concepts — which itself operates The Cheesecake Factory ownership umbrella, and has multiple other concepts besides Flower Child.
