Coffee chain 7 Brew planning a new Shawnee drive-thru

The new Shawnee location would mark the fifth 7 Brew coffee stand in Johnson County.

Just weeks after a drive-thru coffee chain’s most recent Johnson County opening, the company appears to have set its sights on more expansion.

Arkansas-based 7 Brew has filed plans to open a new shop in Shawnee — its first coffee stand in the city.

7 Brew wants to come to 11560 W. 63rd St.

  • If plans the city approves the plans, then 7 Brew would occupy a space just off 63rd Street and Quivira Road.
  • The space was previously occupied by a Kentucky Fried Chicken franchise.
  • The site is also near Hawaiian Bros and Chick-fil-A.

7 Brew serves coffee, energy drinks and more

  • 7 Brew’s menu features a range of coffee drinks like lattes, cold brews and mochas.
  • Some of the drive-thru shop’s signature coffee flavors include the blondie (caramel and vanilla breve), banana bread mocha (banana and hazelnut mocha), and honey bun breve (brown sugar cinnamon, honey and white chocolate breve).
  • In addition to coffee, 7 Brew also offers flavored energy drinks, teas, sparkling waters, lemonades and smoothies.

Another 7 Brew recently opened in Johnson County

  • The Arkansas-based chain opened a new coffee stand earlier this year, at the OsLo development off 135th Street and Antioch in southern Overland Park.
  • If approved, the new Shawnee shop would serve as the fifth Johnson County location for 7 Brew.
  • Currently, 7 Brew has Johnson County locations in Overland Park and Olathe.
