From sushi and coffee to knick-knacks and gardening tools, Johnson County saw plenty of business activity this month.

Two sushi restaurants are new to the Overland Park scene this month — and at one of them, there are no menus on the table.

One Colorado-based bagel chain unveiled a new Olathe shop, and another locally owned bagel shop is on the way to southern Overland Park.

A Lenexa-based hardware store has finished construction and opened up its newest Johnson County store in Shawnee.

That’s just a snippet of some of the new business activity this month in Johnson County — along with some closures, such as Utah-based Hawaiian-inspired eatery Mo’Bettahs’ departure from Johnson County.
