JoCo businesses in 2025: Openings, closings and what’s coming soon

Here's a look at which businesses opened and closed in 2025, and are coming soon to Johnson County in 2026.

It’s been a busy year for the Johnson County business scene (and in turn, a busy year for this reporter).

Some businesses made grand debuts in Johnson County, while others returned after time away or expanded. Businesses closed their doors, and other new additions announced that they’re on their way.

From boutiques and barbecue to Italian cuisine and live comedy, here’s what opened and closed this year, and still has yet to come in 2026.
